Jim and Simon have completed a double glazing upgrade to our 1890s home. Following a detailed measurement and quotation, they arrived with new glazing units and removed the old frames, cutting new grooves to accept the inserts and new beading.With the renewal of the sashes and balancing weights, plus new brass fittings, the end result after three days' work is a warmer, quieter home with crystal clear windows. We are delighted.Jim and Simon are craftsmen, who are friendly, efficient and professional. Highly recommended for this difficult and specialised work. Thank you.

We had Thermawood Wairarapa retrofit double glazing into the bay windows in our old 1907 villa and we are very happy with the end results. The windows themselves are an improvement in terms of reducing heat loss and keeping road noise out. They look great and add all the benefits of modern windows without losing the character of our old home. Simon and his crew were great. They nailed their turnaround time and were very efficient. Very impressed by the quality of service just as much as we are with the end product. Happy to recommend and will use them again in the future to retrofit more of our windows.

Thermawood Wairarapa have just finished our double glazing, we had most of it done a couple of years ago by them, and recently got them back to finish the job. As they did the first time, they've done a great job, and now our house is completely double glazed. They're extremely professional, tidy, and the type of people you're very happy to have working at your place.

Simon and Braithim retro-fitted double glazing to our c1900 villa recently. The Thermawood system is excellent and Simon’s background in joinery means the quality of workmanship is also excellent. He was also able to make minor repairs to a couple of frames as he went along. The communication with Simon was flawless from the outset and they were a pleasure to work with. We are very pleased with the result with regards to temperature control but the biggest surprise was the extent of sound reduction from the nearby busy road.

Excellent workmanship. I was hesitant about having double glazing done, and agreed to two rooms on the cold side of the house. Within a very short space of time I asked for a quote for the rest of the house. We did not even get other quotes - because our friends were very happy with their service, that was good enough for us.
