Cheap enough meals, good variety, good portions and good flavour. I had the salad with chicken and bacon, but lots of variety (including vegan options) and our whole table was pretty happy with their main. Tiramisu was pretty disappointing - I'll be back but no dessert next time.

On a nice day it was once a nice place to go along and try to make a dollar on the horses or dogs but on a cold day it’s was not very inviting. But the unfortunate thing now is the fact that Forbury Park is now no longer a horse or dog racing Center in Dunedin,the city has again lost one of its iconic places that have served the city for decades. I’d be scared to wonder what is next, I don’t think we need some over priced fancy looking bridge that’s not going to serve any major purpose!

This was our xmas lunch, and was a disaster, everything was half cooked and cold the only thing that was warm was the gravy. The dessert left a whole lot to be desired. Wont go there again .

Pretty basic, not my cup of tea to be honest. Tables were sticky and beer was not as cheap as one would have expected from the fit out.

Went here to the restaurant and it is a special wee place and a well kept secret. It shouldn't be. The meals a beautiful. Most definitely value for money here. Service is excellent and the place is clean.
