Kenepuru Community Hospital

If you don't have patience, better not go there. The nurses push your file under others according to their opinions, not a high priority one. What? Everyone coming in are sick! It sounds racism to me!!! Now still waiting after 4 hours.

Rude operator answering the phone 6/10/23 from 8.32am to 8.42am I've been trying to ring[. She answered the first time and put me through to the wrong line which I was then given another number that didn't even dial. I then rang back to say I have called this number before to ring my brother and she hangs up on me after ive tried to explain to her. I ring two more times and she hangs up on me instantly both times.... this is the only number that comes up for the Keneperu Hospital porirua. I just want to wish my brother a happy birthday... ?

These guys should be ashamed. It’s better to beg on the streets than this. No proper consultation. The doctor literally showed no care. Wrote two names on the paper within less than a minute and went off. The bill came 3 days later which was $51. $51 for what?If you don't have patience, better not go there. The nurses push your file under others according to their opinions, not a high priority one. The nursing staff is absolutely useless and a bunch of jokers. The way they treat patients and make them wait for 5 hours is absolutely disgusting. There was a nurse who initially came once a ten minutes and told us they will be with us shortly. Those staff members are a disgrace to New Zealand’s health care sector

Very proactive safety protocols at the main entrance. All the nursing staff are super considerate, highly professional and efficient. The hospital was clean and it was easy to navigate to the different areas. I felt relaxed, in safe hands, well looked after and received excellent service.

I just experienced an afternoon surgery stay in Kenepuru Hospital and would like to thanksall staff involved with my appointment on Monday 16th January 2023.They are worth 10 out of 10.

While the staff are lovely, the wait times are ridiculous if you walk in and want to see a doctor. Four hours seems usual.Not the fault of the staff, but no matter how nice they are, you will still be sitting there for hours.The pharmacy is awesome and there is no coming back for repeats like you have to at commercial pharmacies who want you back in the store so impulse buying will generate more revenue for them.

Edit: Doctor was amazingly friendly and very careful with the checkup, so he earned more stars for you. Changing my rating from 1star to 4star.Original- Don't ever tell them you are waiting for long time. They will put you in a room saying you are next, then keep you waiting there for hour more so you don't see who else is going in. Called to see the timings, 1 hour on the phone turned 5 hours and still waiting in the special room to be the next patient.

Wow! What amazing and caring nurses and staff, especially Lynda the theatre nurse and Alan the anaesthetist, they really took the time to explain and make me comfortable and made me laugh even when it was my first procedure and anaesthetic and I was feeling really nervous and scared. What beautiful humans! Gives me faith again in the human race! Thankyou for doing such a great job and treating me with such care and dignity!

Was in overnight after surgery. All staff, from admission to procedures, to recovery and the ward were absolutely amazing. All very kind and polite and importantly, talked me through everything and listened to any questions or requests I had.

Excellent caring staff, I appreciate how they helped me today. Great after hours medical centre
