Great atmosphere, well lit building, easy to find drop-off rental car and Cafe. Clean toilets on a early morning. Always so nice to see the mountain right when you arrive or see it one more time just before you leave. Taranaki has a great airport! Lovely Māori art and very nice information or the region air history. A homage to great pleple that flew before us today. Can be a bussy place with arivings flights leaving flights every 30 minutes, plan your trip, but sitting and waiting is not bad at this place.

Recently renovated NP airport to international standard interior & facilities. Comfortable, serene, clean, peaceful & tidy renovation. Over 100 seats scattered for passengers & visitors. Over 100 car parks with 20min free or $2/hr. Tatai is a New Maori NZ jade gift shop. Newly tarred driveway & runway for a smooth ride. A big cafe for guest with NZ aviators info displayed. Air condition premises.

Still one of my fav airports after over 50 yrs now. Very friendly and extremely helpful staff from hire cars to security to cafe&bar staff.

Nice airport, pitty the food outlet never has a bar manager so alchohol can never be served. Often closes early so no food available

Lovely Terminal facilities available, it is bizarrely quiet of course, but slowly picking up, it's still a big work in progress!Lovely staff, coffee & food!

Beautiful 'new' airport, airy, light, with spectacular views of Mt Taranaki on a good day. Coffee was nice, eggs Benedict on hash was substantial & delicious

Nice modern airport. Clean and great views. Only downside was the limited food options - no dairy I could see - just a cafe.
