Golden Bay Lodge & Organic Gardens

Really enjoyed our short stay. Clean, quiet, self contained. Beautiful and relaxing stay. Kitchen has everything you need for basic cooking. We stayed in the Chalet option.

Perfektes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Wir hatten ein kleines Chalet mit allem Drum und Dran inklusive Jakuzzi vor der Türe. Aus dem Bio- Garten durften wir uns an den Kräutern und dem Salat bedienen. Liegt ganz toll an einem Sandstrand mit perfekter Aussicht aus dem Whirlpool. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, aus Zeitgründen nicht möglich, und können es nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen.

Beautiful grounds and beach, such friendly and helpful staff.

The hosts managed to double book us, and asked us to cancel, which I refused to do, having had already booked travel to the region with few other accommodation options left. Eventually they relented, having put us through a stressful situation.They then left a passive aggressive public review following our stay complaining about a greasy BBQ (we had cleaned it the best we could with the lonely sponge they had left for the job). As well as claiming we left the oven greasy (which we didn’t use). I’d expect any such issues to be covered by the $75 cleaning fee we paid, especially given we cleared out the fridge, took out the rubbish etc.The accommodation itself was fine. A nice location, but quite expensive given the dated facilities.I couldn’t recommend these unreliable and petty hosts less. You risk receiving a retaliatory guest review for refusing to put up with their incompetent administration.

Amazing place in a magnificent area ,!!! The views from the house are breathtaking and wineries and restaurants in the area are not to be missed ,
