enjoyed their happy hour 5pm-7pm/8pm with $6 G&T and some hot chips. What the standout here is their chicken wings! Buffalo sauce, perfect *chef’s kiss* and the home made blue cheese *drool* from an upstate-NY native, I can verify these are delicious buffalo wings! Don’t miss out on this gem when you’re in Wanaka!

Lovely atmosphere. I can't say I've ever had a nicer burger at any restaurant/cafe/bar. Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff too!

Best breakfast in Wanaka. You can't beat the Weekend Big Breakfast deal! World famous in Wanaka!Great service, great vibes and a great team.Eat next to the huge outdoor fire and enjoy great coffee or, if the sun is over the yard arm then something from the bar!

By far the best restaurant/pub in Wanaka! We had been walking in 30° with our dog, after our car had broke down, and we stumbled across the Rove. We were welcomed in and our dog was automatically brought water! The staff were super friendly and our food and drinks were brought to us straight away. A lot cheaper an a more chill environment as opposed to the places down by the waterfront. 10/10 recommend!

Rude bar person at the counter, the food is okay but expensive was $15 for fried chicken and $22 for a veggie burger which just had jackfruit lettuce and mayo. Will try somewhere else in my next visit.

Wow, that absolute best fries ever with that chilli bite. I would have mixed it with the sauce provided and aioli. Then it would have been perfect. I am so pleased to find a light bite like this after a busy day. I'm definitely coming back. Fingers crossed, Rove is still here then.

While the food is good, the service is terrible, the girl behind the bar is rude and looked intoxicated. it took nearly an hour to get our food, they were not busy as we watched and waited to the point we asked to be refunded, on reviewing our order looks like we were also overcharged. $21 for just a burger?
