HMG Boarding Kennels and Cattery

Excellence with my Mums dog Boogie. He's been there x2 and Boogie was very happy when he came home. He remembered the lady when she picked him up again from Top Vets.

Best Kennel we have ever used and I mean that worldwide! I hunted high and low all over new zealand to find a good kennel for my 3 very different dogs that are family and I wanted them to stay together as we had to go overseas suddenly for a family matter. With Heather we hit the jackpot after several tries and misses. She is a most wonderful person, loves dogs as her own and treats them exceptionally!. Kennels are spotless clean, large as well ,lovingly prepared already. The outdoor area is very large and wonderful! like a playground for children ! We all loved it in a an distant! Due to lockdown we were stuck longer and could not pick up dogs and Heather is so wonderful and kind and ready to help out whatever is needed. Our dogs are our family and we trust Heather explicitly, I trust her with my children and my life as well.Will never use anybody else! HIghly recommended!!

Thanks once again Heather! Our dog always had a good time at your kennels and the daily photos showing his exercise times and him having a blast is great to see. I love the fact that your opening & closing times and all other information can be found on your website/FB page. We'll be back for sure!

Popped our cats out there, also our very elderly dog. All were really well looked after and boarding houses r very clean with lots of toys and hammocks. Great area for dogs to run too. We Wil b using HMG again.

My cat gets the 5 star vacation experience here! I know he's well looked after, with the owner being incredibly communicative posting updates on the business Facebook page so I can see what he's up to. I always feel so at ease knowing my furbaby is being treated like royalty. Absolutely recommend ten times over!!!!

Highly recommend. Felt safe to send my puppy to board with her for a few days because of her vaccination protocols. Heather was super easy to communicate with and I loved being able to see photos of my puppy while I was away. Very reasonably priced and was very accommodating. Would definitely board with Heather again.

I have both a cat and dog. My dog has allergies and Heather is very helpful with her care. Giving meds and watching out for skin irritations. Lucy (dog) always come back tired from her fun run around play times.Maddie (cat) is well cared for. There so is so much for her to climb in, under and on top of. I can relax on my holiday when I know my girls are safe.

Heather is amazing, I trust her 100% and she is always happy and helpful. She deserves a medal for the work she does and those of us that know appreciate her so much.

Host unfriendly. Kennels were clean. Was not shown exercise areas so unsure wether dog was let out. Does not operate in advertised pickup and drop off times . Could not recommend.

Our dogs have been coming here for quite some time. We turn off the State Highway and they start crying, when we get there, we can hardly get the leads on them they are so excited to see Heather. They love the home cooked meals and the attention given to them. Also love the inside rooms, especially on the little dog side with their beds and chairs. Lovely people and have helped us out at a moments notice, even collecting them for us when one of us was rushed to hospital. I cannot recommend this kennel more.
