Fairlie Holiday Park

Asked to view sites before booking in, weird response. Asked by owner to remove campervan from park while we discussed what we wished to do as we couldn't decide which site to take. So i was expected to take my campervan out onto the busy road to make my decision. If that's the attitude towards your customers you wont get any.Drove to Geraldine Top10 and so pleased we did.Up your game Fairlie camp, not good!

Beware booking in advance at this place. We had to cancel our booking due to Covid but in line with their policy they still charged me for two nights stay. Were not prepared to discuss the situation and stuck to their policy".I will avoid the place in future."

Nice spot to camp, but needs a lot of matenance done on amenities

We stayed 1 night only on 6th November. It was very quiet as hardly anyone staying. The facilities were clean but dated. More expensive for what it offers compared to other dates we used on the South Island.

Lovely park like setting. Hadn't booked. Would've put tent up but too shady so our early morning departure would've been folding up wet tent so we decided on cabin. We weren't allowed to look in cabin ---only through window. Kitchen, showers, loos all extremely clean and well equipped. Great for our dogs with park and stream walk next door. Very noisy from road, including all through the night. But we should've known that! Handy for town. Cabin extremely basic with very old lumpy beds. Reminded me of shearers quarters! But clean crispy white sheets. (Unlike shearers quarters!) Cabins way overpriced. Would recommend for campervans --- well away from road!

A lovely camp with rooms or powered/unpowered sites. Kitchen space had everything needed , facilities clean and staff were really friendly and helpful. Other campers were respectful too

These guys are amazing! We stayed for 3 nights in the cabins, and were travelling cheap- four of us in the one room. The morning after our first night (a tad packed!), we were offered a second cabin room for free. 100% would stay here again, plus the showers were fantastic, and Fairlie is a lovely town.

Excellent and clean facilities with very accomodating management. Mary Jane was very friendly and offered us an umbrella to borrow to walk around the park. Location is great, 5 min walk into town. Would definitely stay here again/ recommend to friends.

Stayed in van with dog and was nice and quiet with lovely friendly owner!
