LACK OF CARE AND UNDERSTANDING FOR CHEMICAL BURNS, ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY.Early 2021 Bernie at Surrenity dyed and cut my hair (costs $180). Everything was fine until about 4 days later. I started to develop a rash on my scalp which proceeded to cover my entire scalp. It was itchy, burning and weeping, so I went to the doctor. He said it was chemical burns and gave me steroid lotion, steroid pills, antibiotics and antihistamines. (this including doctors appointment comes to about $65).I let Bernie know about this before my next appointment and she proceeded to get rather angry and defensive, telling me I should have contacted her and not the doctor and she would have told me to put milk on it. As this was my first bad experience with Bernie I decided to give her benefit of the doubt and went back again about 8 weeks after the first appointment. She told me she put some kind of oil in the dye so I wouldn't react this time.BOY WAS SHE WRONG. Not only did I react again, it happened much faster and much worse! The same rash started to appear and my head started to swell! It continued to swell for about 3 days after seeing the doctor! I contacted Bernie as soon as the rash appeared rather than calling the doctor (she assured me I wouldn't need the doctor). This was a terrible communication, She told me to soak my hair in milk. this did help with the itchy burning feeling BUT this was before I went to the doctors as my head and rash continued to swell and worsen, regardless of the milk. There have been cases around the world of severe chemical burns from hair dye, causing peoples heads to swell worse than mine that actually caused them to stop breathing! Bernie proceeded to show no care or willingness to take responsibility for lying to me and taking my money, this second appointment cost me a further $180 and $65 in doctors fees and prescriptions. she did not offer to compensate me at all, just a hair treatment (who wants more chemical burns right?).To top it all off she cancelled my next appointment without even telling me. guilty conscience? I think so. Would not recommend AT ALL. unless you have a death wish. DANGEROUS BUSINESS WITH ZERO DUE CARE AND ATTENTION TOWARDS CUSTOMERS.(I have attached some photos of the swelling, they are from 3 consecutive days starting 2 days after my last hair appointment)
