We've always loved this place, so peaceful, yet so full of life. Can also see and feel the history of what was before and can only wonder of the wonders that were here in the days of colonisation. At least we can look after what is left and look to the future.

.Great walk especially the Webb creek track. While the Billy Goat track is only an hour longer it's considerably steeper and longer, but still beautiful. Tracks are well formed and suitable for tramping in both wet and dry weather.

Breathtaking view from the Pinnacles. Medium level track not that difficult but time consuming. So if you are beginner or planning to go with your family take in count around 4 hours to the top. Also, tracking gloves would be very helpful on the top itself when you have to climb on metal stairs upstraight especially if it's windy or rainy.

Amazing ancient Kauri Tree walk. Walk up is about an hour. Amazing river & streams followed by many stairs. 1 hour up about half an hour back down. The Kauri tree is very magical & magnificent. It has a very strong spiritual energy. The air quality is phenomenal. Road to the entrance of track is rough, gravel & many holes, few river crossings & very tight one ways, best suited for 4wd vehicles.

Small parking lot and the beginning of the Pinnacles Track, 3h trek to the Pinnacles Hut and 4h to the summit from there

A great starting point for the various walks through the gorge. The pinnacles is a must do.

Qutie a large carpark for the entrance to the Kauaeranga (Pinnacles) trail. There was plenty of spaces and the entrance to the Trestle View campsite was nearby. It is the end of the road so it is hard to miss. The grassy area by the campsite can also be used for parking.
