Castle Hill Conservation Area
This place is amazing. Lots of nice, easy hill climbs. Lots of well maintained paths, good parking, and just awesome views and interesting things to look at.

Castle Hill Conservation Area
Beautiful free walk around Castle Hill conservation area. Very popular area for families and visitors. Very easy 1.5km walk up and around the rocks with various tracks to take you on top of the rocks if you like. Plenty of parking, well formed track, toilet in the car park area. Very little shade so can be very exposed to heat, sun and wind. Well worth a stop.

Castle Hill Conservation Area
Nice walk up and around the rock formations. You can go off the beaten path and explore the cliffs surrounding the main area. Great view at the top and plenty of opportunity to see images in the rock formations as well as good photos if you catch the light at the right time. And it's free.

Awesome country side scenery with amazing huge rock formations. Take a walk round the loop to enjoy the serenity and see the huge strange rock formations. There's an open car park and public toilet too.

Castle Hill Conservation Area
First visit after years of on my to do list. Well worth the effort to get there! Plenty of parking and an easy walk around the main part of the reserve. Rock formations are amazing and the vistas are even better with the January flowers blossoming everywhere.

Must visit place close to Christchurch a good stress reliever lol and u get a chance for good walk ie flat and steep hill, unfortunately you can’t ride your bike here… good tracks and well maintained there are however you need to get very close to the big stones and climb abit for the flat plateau up hill u get to see snow and also good sunset from here well wroth it

Very beautiful, very easy walk. Not far away from Christchurch. Car park is free and has toilet facilities.

Castle Hill Conservation Area
If you have a car , this is a must-visit in New Zealand.The views are super amazing on sunny days, the rocks are quite giant which make me look much smaller.There are some toilets and parking lots here, just took about 20 minutes to walk, the trail is not difficult at all.

The views are stunning from all around.Definitely worth a visit to let your eyes see that beautiful huge and natural rocks!!Recommend of course to Come in a clear day sky !!!
