Due to a change of job I've had to move residence - out of convenient access to a Anytime Fitness branch. The staff at the Ferrymead branch (I think I spoke to Liv?) were incredibly understanding and reasonable, which made exiting my contract completely stress-free. Cheers guys!

Well below average gym, Just a typical cookie cutter, money Grabbing franchise gym with little to no culture or community,.The view is good but it in no way makes up for the major lack of equipment, poor layout and bs policies you would be subjected to as a member , much better gyms for similar money around town and quite honestly if you have the space and the discipline to use it you would be better off building a gym in your garage for the same cost as a couple of years of membership.

A smaller gym that has a great presence of staff and members. Would recommend this to anyone in the area that is beginning their journey in fitness. However, it's a bit difficult to go through all training reschemes due to their lack of equipment, so for experienced athletes it might not be the best spot. Still recommend it though if you're wanting a good local... Chur.

A great gym, in a great location, with a friendly team and atmosphere. It's nice to finally find a gym that you feel comfortable going to, and Anytime Fitness Ferrymead is perfect for that. The gym is small, but there is still plenty of space and it never feels crowded, as a bonus there is always a nice view outside.

Great gym, fantastic ambience with well maintained and up to date equipment. Only downside, as noted by others, is that the ventilation and aircon, particularly in Summer, isn't good enough for effective aerobic exercise. Maybe free standing fans would help improve airflow? Still the best gym in Christchurch though!
