Earnscleugh Tailings Track
My dog Ivy's favourite walk. Decent sized car park and you can follow the path along the river. Cross the footbridge, turn left and walk the path around the gold tailings. You can do the largest loop which is 5 or 6kms or choose a smaller one. Safe for dogs off leash and clearly signposted.

We went to Fraser river, via Marshall Road it was just beautiful and safe for our dogs they just loved it

Earnscleugh Tailings Track
This is part of the Alexandra River track and in my opinion one of the best cycle , walking and exploring tracks in Nz...this is a must do when visiting Central Otago.

Earnscleugh Tailings Track
Very interesting walk through the old tailings, wear sturdy shoes and bring water, it can get hot amongst the rocks.
