Make and Mend saved my dress!Sharn altered my wedding dress - originally one of the straps had broken off. Although she could have easily just sewn it back on, she decided to use her skills and knowledge to make the dress fit better by changing it from a loose strap to a tight button hold. It fixed the problem of the dress not fitting my chest area and looks so much better now than it did before. We didn't even need to cut into the dress as her quick solution was all that was needed to make it fit perfectly.She also reinforced the seams and made the dress more durable during wear.Very quick and friendly service aswell.I would recommend her to anyone. %100 positive experience.

Sharn made a lining for a cane bassinette. She had some great ideas and this was very helpful to a non-sewer l Fabulous updates and ongoing communication with photos as well. Would recommend highly.

Sharn does beautiful sewing work, but I was dissatisfied with my alteration results, and perhaps this is not her fortay.I did send a private message to Sharn first, but had no response.The cost of my alternations , Black Skirt - take up from the waist $25, 3 dresses sides run in $90,White Shirt - sleeves to be shortened ( was shortened to just below the elbow the first attempt, instead of below my wrist-$45, Second attempt to fix my white shirt-No Charge (now sits couple of inches above my wrist!) plus charged a $30 fitting fee for all alterations.The value of my clothes seemed worth my while to have them fitting me a little better, Skirt cost me $200, White Shirt $250, the 3 dresses $480- and on top of this paid an extra $75 to have Sharn's alterations fixed, so I am very disappointed.Hi Sharn (10/03/2023)I saw your face book post and it reminded me that I was going to touch base with you about my alterations.The shirt sleeve length is still too short and in no man's land and looks all worn
