Carefinder

Not being from Auckland or knowing anyone in the city made it extremely difficult to find work. I didn’t have a place to ‘advertise’ as such, so it meant I would have to trawl through sites that only listed jobs and compete with other applicants or find that potential employers had not specified clearly enough their requirements. I chose Carefinder in particular because it’s so easy to use for parents and carers being specialised around care.Carefinder allowed me to create a profile that parents could see and then message me for more information, this meant that parents could tell me of their needs, quickly and easily. Arrangements can be made or declined quickly to not waste anyone’s time. I’ve been working for a family that found me through Carefinder for 8 months now.Carefinder is a great service. It is super easy to use, the message feature is fantastic being able to contact parents directly (and vice versa), effective for both sides in finding care. For any problems (not that I’ve had any so far) Daniel is lovely. A solid 10/10, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for work or care providers.
