Nice green area with plenty of parking including wheelchair parking. Large play ground with a lot of equipment for the kids. Also has a skate park off to the side. BBQs are free to use and there is a picnic table.

Living local, good but the council can spend some of our rates money to upgrade and repair this. Also would be great to have another kids park in another location.

Nice little stop for the kids in the heart of Te Kauwhata. Clean, and a number of playground activities to keep the kids occupied, also has a lovely tree canopy to sit and watch or fire up one of the free to use bbqs. Only negative is the lack of fencing along the boundary of a relatively busy road or gate closing access to main trunk railway tracks means being super alert while your child plays.

We had just charged the car and was looking for something to munch when we discovered a take a way Thai food van. So we tried and sat in the park to eat. Van was really quite busy and the food really good. I envy the locals. Looking forward to the next time we're passing through. Park was quite nice and a nice playground for the littles. Just keep an eye on them as the main road runs right past.
