Our experience with Jeong was quite unique as my then fiancée and I were not from New Zealand and Jeong had not done many shoots there as of yet. Despite the challenges that this presented, Jeong was excited to plan our engagement shoot and to offer us as many options as possible. It is truly incredible how much Jeong fit in roughly four hours! From close up to wide view shots, to video and drone footage as well, we were amazed at the diversity that Jeong was not only able to offer but deliver as well. Our photo shoot was at the Te Waha Point Lookout and nearby Whites Beach, and although our photos were mainly in these spots, we were able to get photos and videos all along the way. In particular, we loved the drone option as it truly offered a unique experience and footage that you would not be able to get otherwise. This option also demonstrated Jeong's creativity which he put to full use throughout our photo shoot. Another one of our favorite moments from this shoot was the use of a cave on Whites Beach that presented the opportunity for a special technique. Jeong utilized a hidden flash to illuminate the cave and produced truly unforgettable photos. We are sad to not be living in New Zealand anymore but have these wonderful memories that Jeong helped us capture that we will always keep with us.

We would highly recommend having Jeong has your photographer, he is accommodating, flexible and creative as well as having a sense of humour.For someone who doesn't like having their photo taken I was quickly at ease with Jeong who had ideas that made me feel more comfortable and at times I forgot he was taking photos. He was willing to put himself and his gear through rain and sand to take some photos that we love.We had our wedding planned amongst the lockdown and made it to level 3 and Jeong was so thoughtful in the ways that he made it work and was able to capture our service for those who weren't able to be there. He was adaptable in providing a first look at the last minute, while still doing an amazing job in capturing everything else. He stuck with us right through to June for our celebration with family and friends and was again able to capture so many wonderful photos that we will treasure.Thank you Jeong for all your hard work, we appreciate your commitment and kindness and your amazing photography skills and ideas.

I am embarrassed that it has taken me almost a whole year to finally write this review!! But even after one year, I still remember our experience with Jeong SO fondly. He was such a pleasure to work with. His communication was always quick, clear and concise and he was obviously very knowledgeable in his line of work.Jeong live streamed our wedding in February last year. My husband is German and none of his family could make it due to border restrictions, and many of my family members also live overseas. To have such a confident and skilled livestream videographer behind the scenes capturing the precious moments of our special day really helped bring us closure around our missing family members and also “close the gap” in some sense, the gap of having them missing. We are so grateful to know that they could still be with us and enjoy our beautiful ceremony even though they were so far away. It was comforting to know they were just on the other side of a computer screen, with their hearts fully with us and for us. Jeong, thank you SO much for making this happen.Jeong was also massively helpful with our wedding page, setting up the links and making everything look clean and professional.I have to mention that because we had an outdoor wedding in Northland in the middle of summer, it was stinking hot, and it wasn’t until the next day that we realised just how many issues that caused, technically speaking! Despite malfunctions in equipment due to overheating in the hot sun during our nearly two hour ceremony, Jeong was able to confidently jump every hurdle, allowing, despite it all, such a smooth livestream from everyone else’s perspective. He did such an incredible job navigating it all, he always had a backup plan in place and gosh, he was just so prepared! For us, finding out all that could have gone wrong, and even all that DID go wrong, yet still having such a beautiful outcome in our livestream, clearly showed Jeongs skills, capability and professionalism. You truly couldn’t hope for more from a livestream photographer on your wedding day.We are incredibly grateful for Jeong and his work and the wonderful memory of our wedding day that we now have captured and kept forever ❤️Thank you thank you thank you! We can highly recommend Jeong, he’s extremely competent, skilled, and so kind and friendly. We were very blessed to find him.

JWY Photography did a phenomenal job. Jeong set up a test prior to see if the system work. His level of knowledge and understanding tech and angles impressed us. On the day of our wedding he turned up very smart in a suit and was very professional. I can not recommend JWY Photography enough for the quality job performed. I now have the most incredible memory of my ceremony that is something i can keep forever.
