What an absolutely fantastic experience our A2O was. I was so well out of my comfort zone not being a cyclist at all, but loved it all. Best guides, really well organised, incredible views, fab accomodation, and after all that cycling, the food was so good I came home 1.5 kilos heavier! Highly recommend these guys. ;)

Incredible, thanks Escape by Cycle for a great 6 day, 5 night adventure. Perfect autumn weather was the order of the week, amazing scenery to take photos of along the A20 route. Terrific E-bikes, that were so well maintained, and charged every evening. If you were a little power hungry! these could also be swapped out in the afternoon to ensure you got to your evening destination without any hassle.... Escape by Cycle on a couple of days has the guide with you on the track cycling, which gives a level of confidence for those that aren't everyday cyclists... So well planned.We were are a group of 7 friends that rode Alps to Ocean Easter 2023. Escape by Cycle arranged all of the logistics, bicycles, accommodations, meals. Loads of fun and banter along the way with Ian and Andrew. For those that don't think they can cycle the whole way, Escape by Cycle have their support vehicle and you can jump on at any time. One of our cyclist tried the chauffeur service! Accommodation was truly terrific in all locations. Ian, and Andrew could not do enough, and really made the trip. Nothing was too much trouble We will definitely look at doing another cycle tour with Escape by Cycle. And are already spreading our experience to other friends.. Thanks again for such a fabulous trip. We loved it......

What a great challenging week of amazing rides across some amazing countryside. Started off with a lots of bumps, rocks and X country and an awesome chopper ride across the Tasman. There were a few surprises as did not realise how challenging some of the trails and peaks were but loved it! Out of comfort and adrenalin pumping. Amazing group and guide. Amazing accommodation and food and had such a good time

WOW. What an awesome experience. We did the combined West Coast Wilderness and the Alps to Ocean. We had a great group of people on both trips with lots of fun & laughter including the hiccups along the way.Casey, Richard and Gary were amazing guides. Nothing was to much trouble & the support & encouragement to some of us who were challenged at times was appreciated.To Ian & the team at Escape by Cycle thank you for your regular communication. This 5 night, 6 day tour Queenstown trail and Around the Mountains " was fabulous. I was a beginner and somewhat hesitant but found that as long as I could ride a bike

Finished the Alps to Ocean 6 day trip (February 2023) and we are captivated by this spectacular country. In addition, Escape by Cycle gave us an incredible guide - Henry Conquer. Intelligent and empathetic leadership with an enormous sensitivity to the land through which we passed. A most excellent trip.

What an experience - Loved it!!EBC - A2O tour did not disappoint. If you are looking for stunning views with great riding then this tour is for you - Even as an intermediate rider I felt comfortable and capable of handling the varied terrain. While some of our advance riders in the group ripped it up.Our guides Ian, Gary and Henry were fun, experienced and took very good care of us in every aspect of our tour. Including our daily and section briefing sessions to ensure we know what to expect next and what points of interest we will come across. To ensuring our lunch spot was prepped ready for our arrival, ready to sub out a bike or change a tire as required.All the accommodation was varied, but what they all had in common was – a great location, very comfortable beds, with super clean amenities. Our nightly hosts were entertaining, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely happy to have us even when they do this 5 - 7 nights a week - Super hosts!!Highlights were the Heli flight, Braemar station with its stunning views, the trail around Lake Ohau then up to Tarnbrae Hill and the trail around lake Benmore – just stunning!Highly recommend Escape By Cycle

We did the Alps2Ocean trail in early April and we’re still on Cloud 9. This is our first trail with Ian and his wonderful team and we are planning our next.For our age group – late 50’s to late 70’s, Ian’s team excelled. We had 24/7 contact, tail end Charlie on the most demanding days, and peace of mind knowing everybody was in safe hands.The food & accommodation was tops.See you again soon Ian, Henry & Mick 

Last year we enjoyed the Alps to Oceans trip with Escape by Cycle and this year 9 of us had another superb experience on the Around the Mountains trip. Rachel our guide bent over backwards for us to ensure our trip was another stunner. We are looking forward to organsing another fun filled experience in the great outdoors of NZ with Escape ByCycle in 2024. Thank you.

A brilliant experience on the Alps to Ocean Tour! Ian was great, loved his whiteboard and sense of humor or rather willingness to deal with ours! Incredible support, great food, fabulous accommodation. E-bikes were great, I would recommend the experience. As a person new to cycling I felt supported and enjoyed it all, the scenery was spectacular and even when it got hard (lots of undulations!) the support made it all ok. I fell off before we started (personal incompetency, LOL) and Ian was there to make sure I was ok. I would recommend this company and look forward to cycling again because of the time I had.
