TJ's Barber Upper Hutt

Highly overpriced and poor customer service. I paid $65 for a haircut and beard trim (I have a very light beard with minimal growth). The guy used a blade on dry skin. Please use a moisturizing gel, cream, or even water when using a sharp razor blade. My skin itched for 2 days and it was painful to sleep. I have never experienced this before. I usually pay $35 for the same service @ One Eighty Barber Shop which is just down the road + they also provide warm towels. TJ barber, never again!

Worst fade I've ever had done. Can't comment on other styles they offer, but if you want a fade go elsewhere.

I was in need of serious haircut, went to few other places, as they were closing, told they couldn't, I saw TJs popped in to chance it and dude was sure thing boss. Great service, I'll be going back again & again.

Great with the kids great cuts little on the expensive side didn't realize it was 15 dollars for a lightning bolt or spider web on top of a cut. 70 bucks for 2 boys cuts was a little experience. But they did dona good cut

Great place, barbers are efficient and professional. Popular so if you don't want a wait try going during the weekdays. Great facilities for kids and barbers did amazing with my son who just wanted to play with the jeep/loader while they did his hair and moved about a fair bit playing. Somehow they still managed a clean and tidy cut and reasonable prices!Like other reviews mention, I did notice they don't sweep up the hair between customers, and it was pretty thick on the ground by the time the 5 groups in front of us had been.

Worst haircut I have gotten professionally. Asked for a 4 on the sides and back and an inch off the top. They ended up taking 2-3 inches off depending on the area and made it really uneven. The sides were lined up poorly aswell. Usually this business has been alright but I don't think I will be coming back.

Great service. Very good and friendly barbers. The haircut was excellent. I stay in Lower Hutt and drive all the way to Upper Hutt. Haven't seen any barbershop like that in my area. Will go back and highly recommend that people try them. Plus they have a pool table while you wait. Their prices was cheap as well.
