The chicken was horrible I got the Korean spicy flavour the breading on the chicken was not crispy at all in fact there was pockets of completely uncooked batter see (goopy stuff in pic) in addition the sauce was tasteless and there was very little of it the terrible value for money just go to country fried chicken down the road

Surprised that there was an authentic Japanese restaurant in Picton. Ordered the chicken udon for a quick snack which turned out to be a great choice. The broth had a great depth of flavour and the noodles were one of the best I’ve had in an udon. There texture was perfect, just the right amount of chewiness. Only critique is that the serving size was small for the price paid. The staff were polite. And the food came out very quickly and was all fresh.

Considering that it is apparently a chain of pan-Asian cuisine, you kind of know what level to expect, and I would still eat here again if I was in Picton because the pickings are slim and there are not other better options, I'd rather have mediocre pan Asian cuisine than bad kiwi/faux other cuisine. I had the dumplings because I am on a dumpling kick, they were OK but lacked in the flavor/filling department. Then I had the miso tonkatsu ramen. I love ramen and have been on a ramen tour in Tokyo so I do know what it should taste like, the broth on this wasn't quite right but it was edible. I added a bunch of togarishi which helped. It actually did get quite spicy towards the bottom of the bowl (there was a spiciness warning but I laughed this off thinking it was kiwi hot")

Great food, prices not too expensive. They were willing to customize the dishes according to our needs. We had two Entrees and four mains with drinks and the bill was a $100.Entrees much bigger than normal and we could not finish our main meal.
