In a hurry, Friday afternoon, forecast next day for sunshine, need some Pals sorted stat. Put in my order (late), lovely woman calls and apologises profusely for not having the exact flavour I wanted, and offers an alternative option that is more expensive instead for no extra cost. Order turns up next morning, and she has also popped in a wee gift and handwritten thanks for your understanding" on the delivery note. Gotta love the personal touch

Disclaimer: I normally buy my wine at Countdown, but after today that all might change. What normally is a chore for me, today was an absolute pleasure. I popped in for a quick five minute trip, and ended up spending 45 minutes talking with the store's new manager, Sydney. I can't say I know much about wine, but I definitely knew more by the time I left. Can't wait to pair this recommendation with dinner tonight!

Closing time online claims 9pm. I am now very moist due to rain and have no additional wine. A damp night caused by poor information from Glangarry Hurstmere Road.EDIT: Google had the wrong closing time. Glengarry's website says the right thing.
