Booked surf lessons for our 11yr old for 2 days. On both days the instructors were unorganized and late getting set up. Spent 15_30mins just standing around waiting for them to get sorted.Hardly taught much and spent only an hour in the water. My son enjoyed the surfing part of it and did have a boost to his confidence in the end. Good if you need something to occupy kids.

Tutukaka Surf took 2 of my kids and 5 of my nieces and nephews for a surf lesson this summer, and they all loved it. Wetsuits and boards provided and awesome local instructors. Really friendly and easy going, well organised and fun set-up. And I got to surf for 2 hours while the kids were having an awesome time.

Stopped into the shop to check out the surfboards. Simon came over and we talked about the boards, what I was looking for, etc... He arranged for me to try a couple of boards during a surf lesson they had planned for the next week at Sandy Bay. What service!!! From that experience with the different boards, we determined what would work for me and Simon helped with the board purchase and a new board bag. Super happy with the outcome and would highly recommend this shop for anything surf related!

I think it was the owner who attended us on anzac day, what a nice guy, very patient with us with all our questions about fins and surf skates ..... got my new fins and they are working awesome!
