Wow! had such an amazing family horse riding experience on the beach! Very friendly and perfessional group. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic experience.This was my first time ever riding a horse and Adele (the guide/owner) and Caitlyn (other guide) made the whole thing super easy and fun.My partner and I were on the horses Rhubarb and Missy, both were really calm and gentle and obviously really well brought up.If you’re ever looking for a peaceful fun thing to do, I’d highly highly recommend these guys. Can’t thank them enough for the experience.

Took a 1 hr ride with my girlfriend for the first time here the other day and it was AWESOME. Beautiful landscapes, very clear communication from our leader, the horses were well behaved, absolutely fantastic for beginners and casual riders. I’m looking forward to going on the slightly advanced 2 hr ride sometime soon!

Adele was great. Very kind, charming lady. We rode Odyssey (Ody) and Missy, and she was on Pepper. The horses were very well-behaved and well-taken care of. The beach ride was lovely, and Adele was very keen to make sure we had the best experience possible. I definitely recommend Waipu Horse adventures!

Don't Book This One! Don’t Book This one !!!Bad experience.My boyfriend and I heard about this Waipu Horse Adventure (WHA) through the website and the hotel advertisement. We were looking forward have a new experience from first horse riding. And We were so excited that we booked a horse riding activity at 3pm the next day and paid $240 for 2 adults. We drove from Auckland to Waipu to enjoy our Easter long weekend. A sad things happen. We arrived at the location( horse floating park) ahead of time at the next day. There are without any instructions or office about WHA over there. We couldn't find their exactly office address and tried to call them, but they didn't answer once. We sent email, obviously no any replied. We reconfirmed the address many times, the website address is very confusing. That it took us to someone else's farm, which was very incomprehensible and very bad. Local people told us WHA just come and go. ????? We waited at the location for a long time. The appointed time had passed. No staff member contacted us during this period, but they sent me a confirmed email. We are very disappointed!! That is totally wasted our time!!!Hope the staff can read the message and contact us to give us an explanation and refund.Guanze Le.

Awesome experience! Adele (the host) made us feel extremely comfortable and well looked after. She definitely went above and beyond to make it an incredible experience for both of us. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Awesome place! We went there on a Sunday for a beach trek. We didn't have much experience and we little bit nervous, stuff was really helpful and supportive.The trek itself goes from the farm through bush to a beach. Views are picturesque!The horses were friendly, obedient and well behaved.I would definitely recommend this place!

It was absolutely amazing!!! I totally love it!Heloise was so nice and patience to us especially we are beginner. Heloise picked all beautiful and friendly horses for us and the demonstration was clear. we have odin and odyssey and they are so beautiful and interesting come with different personality. Odyssey is a gentle girl with good listening ears and Odin is super clever and active.I could tell they are under good caring with a lot of love.The view at the waipu beach was stunning and breath taken. Heloise even took plenty photoes and videos for us. It was very thoughful!!!It was a fun,relax and safe experience even for kids!Definetly coming back again and I am highly recomend it!!!! Wonderful experience, very family friendly and can cater to all ages and experience. Adele is just the most friendly and approachable host, you can tell she has so much passion for her work and her horses and it is so awesome to see. Love to support someone who has so much love for what she does, and you get to ride the most sweet horses amongst a beautiful backdrop of the beach.
