Hard not to want to take home one of everything! Week after week we are slowing making our way around the bakery .Our favorite is the fruit loaf toasted for breakfast.

$9 sandwich was disappointing, only a tiny bit of ham and bread was soggy. Such a shame as the coffee is great.

Their wholemeal sourdough bread is ridiculous. Its a shame I bought it because it’s so good I don’t want to eat ‘’normal” bread again.

Generally pretty good as a chain. Almond croissants not bad, but seem smaller.Their bakers don't seem to get focaccia bread and the essence of oil...rather they are a bit dry.

Love this place! It's such a cute neighborhood bakery. So many options to choose from, but I especially love their chocolate chip cookies and kumara sourdough. Very friendly and helpful customer service, too!

we didn’t realise there was a wild wheat in Birkenhead so we popped down to try it out. We both got a pie and a coffee each - both delicious, we were very impressed as sometimes chains / upmarket bakeries don’t do the job well but come with a more expensive price tag for a humble pie and coffee duo. Worth it for sure! Only thing is I wish they had iced coffee! ☺️

Best pies in Birkenhead and maybe even wider north shore hands down. Pies make up roughly 80% of my diet so I am not easy to please in this department.I’ve had the smoked fish and the lamb and potato, both were filled VERY generously with meat and had lovely flaky pastry.What would make this place better is if they did their own baked croissants and pastries in shop. I’ve had a few of these from their cabinet and they’ve been a bit sad.Go here for the pies!!!
