Kruchain is a excellent teacher, who draws from his experience of 500 odd fights to teach an authentic style of Muay Thai to those willing to put in the hard work.Training is hard, but fun, you learn simple but effective techniques and the “why” and “when” to use them.He teaches, Muay Thai to suit your level and needs from the officer worker needing to let off some aggression and to get fit, to an enthusiastic prospective fighter, wanting to step into the ring. There’s something for everyone.I would highly recommend everyone to train with him, you would be doing yourself a big favour.

I was down in Wellington on a work trip and found Kruchain gym on google. I’ve trained kickboxing, but not much Muay Thai. Kru is clearly an experienced trainer, he helped me with my footwork & technique. The workout was tough but we all had a good laugh. The team at the gym were all welcoming, and we even went out for some local Thai food after the training. 1000% I’ll be back when I visit Wellington next!

I was down in Welly for a work trip and googled Muay Thai gyms around the CBD. Have trained before and decided to drop in for a class. It was slightly difficult to locate the gym as there aren’t any signs outside the building (near Warehouse).Kru is very experienced and I like that there was one to one Padwork with him in the Beginner’s class, during which he corrected some of my technique. The Muay Thai class also had some fun combos and was overall a great workout. The vibe of the gym, including experienced members, was welcoming and encouraging to new people. Would definitely visit again when I’m back in the city:)

You can't get anymore of an authentic Muay Thai trainer than Kruchain. So much experience right here in Wellington. A truley amazing trainer for anyone who wants to learn Muay Thai. Especially good with kids. He has a way of bringing the best out in people making everyone feel special and motivated to improve.

A hustler money hungry man! Won’t teach you anything useful, same combos, same training, same drills… You won’t notice immediately but the few times you do go you’ll see what I’m talking about, 0 stars… not recommended at all :/
