I had never been into this store, but needed help fixing some shoes. The man behind the counter fixing a pair of shoes was attentive, very helpful and prompt with offering his expertise. Very impressed.

Hi Sandy. I have never ever done a review on your shoe shop and what has just arrived is a total mystery to me.If I ever did do a review on your shoe shop it would certainly have five stars. I always tell people how very lucky we are that we have this brilliant shoe shop that I think is better than anything in Nelson. The only other shoe shop that would have come anywhere near yours would have been one that was reduced to rubble in the earthquake in Christchurch. As I said before a total mystery but there are plenty of scammers around and I get at least five a day trying to scam me. Rest assured I love your shoe shop.Juliet K

They did a great job of repairing my fav boots, and are always friendly & helpful. Also a good range of shoes, some of them are even big enough to fit my yeti feet.

I bought a pair of expensive sandals here after a passionate sales pitch on the level of quality of the maker. When all went awry and both shoes ended up breaking, I received such excellent customer service after letting the staff know, and not only were the sandals repaired brilliantly in a very timely fashion, but they were hand-delivered to me in Christchurch! I was so impressed by the entire staff’s commitment to righting a wrong that was outside of their control, and I would shop here again and again because of it. Thank you to Jaquelene and all the employees of Cresswells!!
