The loop walk is lovely and the park is a lovely place if you want an enclosed space to run your dog around in. Lots of tennis balls free to use there but unable to find water source.

My dog loves coming here. But I have read the reviews over the last year and nothing much has improved or changed as promised. The huge mud holes in winter put me off visiting. It's such a beautiful area and hopefully the upkeep will get better. Especially with the high rates a dog fees we pay.

Bomb Point Dog Park is one of limited number of fully-fenced dog parks in Auckland. The size is large enough and there is plenty of space to run.It is great that there's a rubbish bin and dog poo bags provided within the park. While there's work being done on providing a source of drinkable water, at this point in time I recommend you bring water for your pup when you visit.

Nice setting but tends to be muddy if it rains and the area is quite small. We have come across the very occasional out of control dog owner - a rare species round here where the owners tend to be super aware

Took our 6 month old puppy to the dog park for a run around. Good sized area for dogs to run, play and exercise in though there are quite a few holes about dug by the four legged attendees. Not a major worry and the dogs seem to avoid them but a bit of a hazard. Fully enclosed and a double gate to get in so pretty secure and there are trees offering some shade. Plenty of space to roam and poo bags were available. Some dog agility equipment would be a great addition but still nice to have somewhere to let the pup off lead. Will be back again soon.

Great dog park. Fencing was more than adequate for my huskadors. Toys to play with. Unable to separate small and large dogs (which wasn't a problem, but a point for others to be aware of). Only real problem was that there is no water up there. There are bowls, but no water - make sure you take some water in with you.

Park is ok, a lot of grassed spaces for a walk with clean pathways.Hovewer the fenced of dog area is not suitable for small dogs. They can easily get out as the fence has big holes.I witnessed big dogs fighting and biting each other. It needs more supervision. It's definitely not a good place for small or young dogs. Maybe if your dog is a bigger breed puppy 'off pick hours' could be a way to go.
