Good Shepherd Car Park
Large scale carpark with plenty spaces for large tour buses, RVs and smaller vehicles. You can park and walk right up to the Church of the Good Shepard and the Sheep Dog Memorial 40-50 metres further down Pioneer Drive.

This is a fairly small and extremely busy carpark for the number of tourists that pass through this single location. Be ready to fight off hoards of people to get a picture!

This is simply a parking lot so how high could this rating go? Haha. It doesn't really get anything wrong and then with its close proximity to the church, that's really all it takes for this particular review.

Simply Stunning. Also walked Mt John to the observatory and summit. Beautiful lake and mountain photo opportunities.

Good Shepherd Car Park
one of the most famous sightseeing spot in South Island NZ. the lake is very beautiful and this Good Shepherd church is very unique too. but unfortunately we found Lake Pukaki (ahead to Mt Cook) is more beautiful than Tekapo. So, I only can give 4 star rating. also there are so many tourists there most time. feel crowded. that let it down a little bit.

Good Shepherd Car Park
Quite a nice and fairly large carpark. It is located at the end of Mclaren bridge so people are able to walk to the Church of the Good Shepherd. There are paid public toilets nearby too.
