Drove out from Nelson to get a couple of round posts. The website said they closed at 5:30, arrived there at 5:00 and the place was locked up and deserted. The posts are probably OK, but I won’t know until I can figure out when they’re open.

Terrible customer service will never go there again. I brought a couple of half round posts to do a small landscaping project at home. I am a retired female. I found physically I was unable to cut the rounds in half with a hand saw which I needed to do as the wood was very wet. I decided I needed to pay someone to do this. I rang goldpine and explained my situation and they said they didnt do that sort of thing. Fair enough - I asked if they knew a business that did and they said no. I find it unbelievable that a timber company cant tell me where to have timber cut!! I have since gone to Bunnings and explained my predicament and they kindly did it for no charge and all with a smile.
