Hands down best oysters I have ever had, and I’ve had my fair share (oysters with chilli jam and crispy shallots).The kingfish sashimi was fresh and zingy in all the right ways. The bang bang chicken salad was full of delicious flavour and crunch. Duck and chive xiao long bao balanced the soup and filling well and packed a great flavour. The only disappointment with the Hapuna curry was that I had to share it with the table, and my husband would say the same for the shaking beef which also won us over.We sat outside in winter, but were warm in the covered in space. The view of the harbour and the lighting all added to the special ambience.Service was fast and friendly.Can’t wait to come back!

We came here only for dessert. Service was bad from the start, they weren’t clear on their instructions of where we could be seated leaving me confused. Not great hospitality. Next waiter asked if I wanted to order drinks, I said no we just want dessert and to clarify I said “yes can we have a menu.” Menu didn’t arrive until they came and asked again if we had ordered. When the food arrived, there was no cutlery. The waiter who delivered it didn’t make a move to give us some. We had to walk up to a waiter to ask for it. Here’s a photo of the deep fried ice cream, which was average even if the service could be improved.

Attended a work event here and had a fantastic evening. Cocktails were so good, food was so delicious and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely be back.

A lovely Friday afternoon at White & Wongs. Service was exceptional from our good friend S. had mock tails, roti, 2x bao buns and deep fried ice cream amounting to $58.The roti was a on the small end as I expected a whole roll however there were two small pieces- they were very yummy though (but not sure if it’s worth the $16 price) Chicken baos very yummy and deep fried ice cream was delicious, the butterscotch sauce was the highlight as the ice cream was plain. Did however have sore tummy perhaps from dessert?

Always a great time here! Went last minute on a Thursday night for dinner. Food is excellent, great for sharing. Highly recommend masaman curry, crispy chicken, (can't remember the noodles dishes name but it's great)! It's almost either busy/booked out or semi busy which is great because you'll never be the only table there. Staff visit the table regularly enough for us not to wait to order and not to be too annoying. I definitely recommend making a booking!

Disappointing, terrible and tasteless. Both food and service from the first waiter was terrible. We had a table of 4 and food came about 1 hour after seating and they didn’t come together including the cocktails. Understandable that it’s a busy night but when food came it was tasteless so that made it worse. The photos taken were dishes that came first and the rest came 20 mins later. I didn’t bother taking pics of the rest because I was extremely disappointed. We ordered bao and other dumplings later on because we thought maybe the popular dishes would be different. Nope never again. Our experience didn’t reflect the location of the restaurant and the reviews. 1 star for the waitress that served us towards the end.

Amazing waterfront restaurant experience! Cozy interior seating, beautiful waterfront seating, staff are friendly and fast, food and drinks were delicious. Wheelchair access on upper levels, best parking is one of the two main parking garages near Quay St, or there is some AT street parking (metered) within 500m of the restaurant. Lots of Lime/Beam scooters around too!

Was craving Asian food and this definitely fulfilled that! Good sized portions and great location at the harbour area. Best to book beforehand as it gets quite busy.
