Thanks to Gwen, Terry, Barry and the team at Showcase - you guys are awesome. I had inherited my Nan's engagement ring which had an amazing diamond in it but was an outdated style and way to big for me and so I wanted to turn it into a necklace for my 40th so that i could wear the diamond with pride (and of course have a little bit of my Nan with me always) they came to the party with a gorgeous design and even gifted me an emerald which is my birth stone to complete the design.I am very happy with it and wear it every day!!

Not happy with my service, took my engagement ring in to Keoghans Showcase Jewellers on the 20/01/16 to have the hearts filled on the inside of the ring. Had to ring to follow up when I would receive my quote. The lady rang a day or two later with my quote.Her words to me were 'This would not be cost effective' I asked how much the quote would be for repairs, and she told me that it was not worth doing as the quote to fix was more than the cost of the ring. That is not her decision to make, this ring is special to me. Special enough to have it repaired so I can wear it all the time. Feeling upset i decided not to get it done, I phoned the next day and said not to go ahead with the quote. They advised me that they would arrange for my ring to be sent back and would call me once it arrived. A week passes and i don't hear from them, I go into the store and get told it is on a courier and it would arrive at end of week . I am still waiting for my ring a week later. It is one thing to tell me my ring is on the courier and then the next week that it hasn't been couriered yet. So I ring again and the Jeweller in Auckland is in Hospital (Sorry to hear this) my ring will take another half a week to get here. Perhaps if they had contacted me to explain the situation and advise my ring would take longer. I would not have got upset. If they only had communicated properly with me I would not be feeling so upset, very poor communication from them. When you give a customer a date that there goods will be returned, and there goods are not ready, common courtesy would be to call the customer and advise them of the situation. Would have been happy to wait considering the circumstances. In my experience I have had to do all the contacting them. Terrible Service(Not the only one in my family to have had bad service either, my Mum waited longer than they said for her jewellery to be returned as well, and it came back dirty. I took it back to the store and got them to clean it properly).The Managers response, was All I can do is apologize" To be honest didn't really feel very apologetic."

My TISSOT watch which was a birthday present from my elderly mother 8 years ago did not show the time correctly. I asked for a quote in another Northland town. Repair costs were to be $ 350.I thought I would try Keoghan Showcase Jewellers to see what their estimate might be. The very friendly lady had a look herself at the watch to see if it was only a minor fault, but then thought it was best if I discuss it with the watchmaker ‘Keoghans’ work together with. The ‘Keoghans’ lady gave me his business card. As the address was slightly out of town, she advised me that the watch could be dropped off at her shop.Eventually I had my watch repaired with a whole new movement etc. for only $ 120.My experience has been that there was genuine interest and great service from the lady at ‘Keoghans Showcase Jewellers’; she did not even add any commission.

The lady there today afternoon was not very professional. She needs lessons on greetings .

They were so helpful and patient answering all of our questions throughout our months of searching for the right ring.When we finally settled on our perfect, unique piece, they went above and beyond to accommodate us purchasing after hours on a long weekend before heading back to Auckland.Fantastic, top quality service from a friendly, knowledgeable team.

I have now purchased 3 watches from the team here and have always been given great service. Then the time came to have valuations done on my late mothers jewellery. This was done in a timely and professional manner.
