Wow! What a day out. So hard to get teenage kids (16&17) to participate and enjoy themselves in the outdoors these days. The whole family really loved the electric MTBs and the trails were really well maintained with a great variety of ability levels. Mean switch backs, climbs, jumps and easy rolling trails.The Owner and staff were super helpful, friendly and gear was top of the line well maintained and easy to use when following the instructions from staff. We highly recommend doing this with the whole family or a group of mates.

Awesome shop! Johnny was super helpful with reserving and setting up the bikes and providing us with a description of the trails. The shuttle drivers were really friendly too, but sometimes that makes you wait a little extra. Coming from California trails and with all the jumps these tracks had, I feel that these Kent bikes arent too well suited for downhilling. I only made it up to the grade 3s and they did okay for that.

Absolutely amazing tracks! Lovely and awesome owners who were so helpful setting up the bikes and making sure you have an awesome time! Will definitely be back soon!

Paihia Mountain Bikes was a great company to deal with. Jonny is an expert in both the trail and local area.The bike quality is high and the level of service exceptional. As a solo traveller you get use to some trips not being available unless minimum numbers are met, but Paihia Mountain Bikes was happy to accommodate me and no extra.I did the 2 day trip starting in the middle each day which gives you the perfect amount of unrushed time to do the trail. Plenty of time to take in the scenery of the north.The trail itself is a nice mix of terrain with a few rough patches but nothing an average rider can’t handle. If you haven’t ridden in a while, consider an e-bike.Scenery is a mix of farm land, coastal board-walks, old rail-way and a little small-town footpath. I did it in spring when the weather was not to hot and a great time of the year to see the spring growth.

This was our 2nd time here, and we had a blast! Jonny, Georgie and the team are super knowledgeable and made sure we went down all the best tracks! Can't wait to come back soon!

Excellent, well-maintained rental equipment, friendly, professional service and an awesome trail system catering to all skill levels. Shuttle bus and trailer very pro and drivers all very helpful and knowledgeable. Fun pump track right next to the parking lot. Definitely recommend!
