I had a pretty good experience with Transworld, I was refered by a friend and moved my stuff from Auckland to Sydney.I was assisted by David, he was pretty responsive in answering all my queries until the very end of my moving.The packing team was amazing, they came and pack everything really well and very quickly. It was not an easy decision to trust someone with moving our belongings from Auckland to Melbourne. David was very helpful and thoughtful at each step of our moving. The packer who came at our place was amazing and exactly know how to pack all the fragile items. We received our goods in Melbourne within 7 weeks. The delivery company OSS was also amazing. Hi, even though the second phase of the shipping is still in progress (which will take some time due to the shipping option we selected), I wanted to give an advance shout-out to Transworld Auckland office. They were seriously amazing!I gotta say, Dave deserves some major props. He was always on the ball, answering our questions lightning-fast and being super helpful throughout the whole process. Dave, you rock!In addition, the staff who picked up our boxes were total pros! They handled everything like it was their own stuff, making sure nothing got damaged. These guys used Southern Furniture Movers to pick up my stuff from Dunedin for transport overseas. Either Southern Furniture Movers decided, or when my stuff arrived at Transworld in Christchurch to sit until further transit, decided it was ok to break off the legs of my antique table and shove the whole thing in a foam bag. If Transworld did not do this themselves I am very disappointed in them nonetheless as the chain of business is there. Absolutely shocking. The laziness of doing such a thing to a piece of history and someone else's property. Transworld said they would look into this matter". I had to follow up with them when I had no response after weeks

We relocated from NZ to the US in Dec 2022. It is now six months since Transworld collected our stuff and we have still not seen it. While the book g agent was good and the packers seemed to be careful and efficient this timing is now over double what we were assured was the longest it would be when booking the job. This has cost us thousands. We have had to purchase new clothes, our baby will have items that, when finally delivered, he would have grown out of already. It is no longer pandemic time, Long Beach have cleared their backlog, there is simply no reasonable explanation for why it should take over half a year to move some things from NZ to the US. Hopefully when our consignment finally arrives it will be in good condition, I may update the review then.OK update time: after Seven months and a week our items finally arrived. All items were in good condition. The Transworld people in NZ were nice to deal with, they seemed surprised and frustrated at the delays too. Their agent in the US seems to have terrible communication. So nice enough to people to deal with, items arrived in good condition but over double the time of their promised worst case timing remains unacceptable so I am going to stick with two stars.
