Piki Te Aroha Marae
We were fortunate enough to visit this lovely whanau marae, to say farewell to a beautiful kuia. The mist off the mountains cloaked the land and made me feel protected, like time stood still here. Ngā tangata heartfelt haka was carried on the wids up to Rangimarie, as our tears fell on Papatūānuku. I hongi our loved ones ka kite and leave a part of me there. Ma te wa whaea!!
