Free Ride
Very cool experience at Free Ride where one of the main mechanics helped me change the chain, cassette, derailleur and gear shifter of my bike, and also to adjust the breaks. Mechanic was friendly and talked me through what was being done, so I could learn. Relaxed atmosphere and nice chat. I so appreciate this service and really recommend it. Thanks Free Ride and Ross!

Free Ride
So after I was basically shamed for having the worst Mountain bike in all of Wellington, they then told me they'd swap my bike to a Better" bike and to come back in an hour. My bike is a Giant branded bike and by no means a horrible bike but they kept pushing that narrative.a When I arrived an hour later I was met with a lesser branded bike with a broken chain. They said it would take a week for it to be ready which was just very odd. I was then guilt tripped into making a donation despite them saying they're fully government funded. Overall it just feels scamy and I felt cheated and ripped off. Avoid this place is my recommendation"
