Coolest cinema you could go to. Mixture of comfy seats, Sofa's and bean bags to choose from. Intermission gives you time to stretch your legs or have a cuppa.

Love this place! Make sure you come early and get a comfy couch to watch the film on with a cuppa and a snack. There's always something for everyone playing, block busters, art house, foreign, 3D, come along and have a couple of hours of magic.

Having attended movies here, sometimes with my elderly dad in his mobility scooter, sometimes with my whole whānau, occasionally with my best mate in my pyjamas, I can say it's possibly the best little theater in Aotearoa.

Comfortable seating and a pleasant community atmosphere give this Cinema much of its charm. A good selection of popular and more niche films were also appreciated However, on a hot summer's day I can't recommend coming here; two fans in the theatre spinning lazily were the only source of cooling, and the bathrooms smelt something vile in the heat.

If there happens to be the odd rainy day when you are visiting Golden Bay, the Village Theatre is an excellent place to go. Cool theatre. Good snacks and very comfortable seats. Plays cool music pre-show and intention too.

Cosy little cinema. Limited seats so if it's a popular film best to pre book some tickets. Wheelchair friendly and has a nice sofa for wheelchair users.

Cozy chairs. You get to have intermission which you don't get in the city's. But you still get to watch current releases. I think we all need a bit of escapism at present.
