Atiu Creek Regional Park

A very beautiful and picturesque place it is a hidden gem on the edge of Auckland, the trails are secluded and quiet but high quality and a rare place in New Zealand to find a reserve with exotic forests managed as well as indigenous. Great example of sustainable use of land!And there are in itBeautiful landscapes, easy to walk through fields and forests. A little hard walking. Very few visitors, so you'll be fully booked to enjoy it. Be sure to visit the water tank.And here it isGreat campsite with plenty of space, bike trails suitable for both family and kids. I wish there was water access but a short drive to Port Albert for wharf fishing would be a great option.

Beautiful scenic spot and peaceful. Its nice just sitting and listening to nature. Toilets are free, and well maintained. Bring the bug spray and your walking shoes.

Very park like, fancy farm really. Great loop walk. Beach side is very upper estuary. Great for cycles and horses.

Beautiful scenery, great easy walks through fields and a forrest. A bit of uphill walking involved. Very few visitors, therefore you will the whole reserve for yourself to enjoy. Make sure to visit the water reservoir.

Love this place. Fantastic views and several good walks. Clean toilet facilities and parking. Lots of lovely birds and other wildlife. Sheep and lambs roaming about too.

Great place for a day trip. Escape from Auckland. Lovely views and feel of freedom here. Well kept gates and fences. Big bonus to get fresh water along the trails. Clean toilets at the carpark liked too.
