Chemist Warehouse Kilbirnie

While I was looking around for the manager in the aisles, I bang my head very hard against the steel post just by the counter. I feel that it not safe and must be removed or close it with something else to avoid accidents.I am very annoyed about this. I gave my contact details. Let’s see what they have to say. It’s a big failure for the pharmacy not to think about health & safety of customers. I still have a massive headache after I came home.Harish

They make you feel like a drug seeker ordering and collecting prescribed, monthly medication. On top of that, every time (no matter how much notice you've given- you have to wait 15 minutes)! Will be swapping back to old pharmacy very soon.

Yes the prices are lower, but also at the Kilbirnie shop the staff are so incredibily friendly and helpful. Recently I went to buy allergy drugs and some face makeup, and I was gobsmacked by the personal attention I got to help my selection. And this seems to be the case every time I go to this particular Chemist Warehouse

amazing service. the pharmacy team goes always and extra mild to provide best service! they never do recommendations just for the sake of upsaling but always having your wellbeing in consideration .

I wouldn’t trust their advice anymore, I had scratches on my arm from MTB fall, back then it was almost healed, just a bit swelling, they guy recommended me sort of a pad, he said I can put it on the wound for 7days then it will be healed without scars, I thought okay, sounds like a new theory, then after 3 days, I can see the padding had some black blood came out, so I took it off, then I saw it was almost back to the stage I was just crashed… my recommendation is do your own research or listen to the proper doctor’s advice, then go buy the product, don’t make my mistake.

Bad customer service in the pharmacy. Advertising for free prescription but treating very badly to their customers when collecting those presentations (one pharmacist specifically - he sounds I was a theif)

Good place to shop, staff are a bit slack, but shelves well stocked.

I was exposed to the Chemist Warehouse many years ago in Australia. What a wonderful place to shop with fantastic discounted products with great service. I used to wish they opened in NZ. My wish came true.. However the NZ branches appear to treat every customer as a potential thief. How about treating customers as that.. Customers who will return and spend money in your shop.

This is the 3rd time I have had to wait for nearly 15 minutes for someone to come and serve me. Sunday nights there are never any staff to be found, shop is literally empty (minus the security guard who actually had to try and help me find someone so I could purchase items) and during the day it seems the pharmacist hides so he doesn't have to serve any customers. Tried to pick up a prescription, waited for the staff member to finish dealing with a customer. Then she walked away. I asked if I could get my prescription, she said I have to wait for pharmacist, she can't help me. I asked where he was, she didnt know. Then suddenly he appeared from behind the counter, where I had been waiting for 15 minutes. He was there the whole time, watching myself and other customers wait and wait and wait and wait. Shop was a mess too. Rubbish all over the floor and shelves mostly empty.

I was a big fan of this place until I purchased a vitamin supplement, got home discovered that it contained mushrooms which Sharron is allergic to, went straight back with unopened bottle and told it couldn't be exchanged. The bottle was obviously unopened but still refused to exchange. Very poor service!!
