We have just been to the Bakehouse on our way to Rotorua for a day trip. What an awesome bakery! Clean, reasonably priced with a huge variety of food on offer! All 5 of us enjoyed what we settled on (after much deliberation)!

We stopped here on way back from couple of days in Taupo. Had Kiwi breakfast and coffee.Generous breakfast with 2 hash browns, 2 eggs and 4 rashers of bacon. Hot, delicious, good value and the coffee was the best we’d had in a long while. The cabinets were full if great looking food, lots of options and will definitely stop here again, no question. Was good to see it was well patronised. We went to a couple of cafes in Taupo which had great reviews but this place beat them hands down. Staff were polite and service excellent. Will certainly tell others and highly recommend .

It's definitely a great stop to have a great pie, sammie, a nice sweet and a toilet break. The steak and cheese pie was seriously packed with tender chucks of beef, crispy buttery pastry. Genuine good service

This place was a fantastic find on the road between Tauranga and Taupo. Lots of parking, food was delicious and staff were great.Would highly recommend as a stopping place for food and drinks

Great place to stop for drinks or meals or takeaways. Something for everyone. Lots of parking for big vehicles. Toilets handy. Great lovely cooked food. Kiwi breakfast lovely and all prices are very reasonable. They do all their own prep and baking so fresh as!! Well worth a stop.
