OPSM Manukau

Worst glasses and service I have ever received. I can't believe I made the mistake of trying OPSM instead of my usual Specsavers.They recommended the wrong lens upgrade for my prescription. I went back to the store 5 times to see if they had given me the right glasses and they kept telling me it just takes time to get used to digital lenses.Came back after a year (never having been very satisfied with glasses) for an eye test and the optometrist at the store commented that my eyes were searching and that they had recommended me the wrong type of lens as this upgrade was only recommended for close distance vision issues.I looked at new glasses but the cheapest pair they could come up with for my prescription was over $900 so I went back to specsavers and when I picked up my new pair it was like the rest had returned to my eyesight.I went back to OPSM after this seeing as for some reason the lens somehow cracked in the week I picked up my new pair (I was planning to keep the OPSM pair as a backup). First I was told nothing was covered because they only had 30 days warranty and the glasses were 12 months old. I told her the website said they offered 24 months warranty and told me it was only 12 months.I ended up speaking to the manager who told me it was a scratch not a crack and that I must have treated the glasses poorly because there were scratches all over them. I have worn glasses for 15 years and I have never once had a scratch on my lens which probably speaks of the quality of this $700 pair of glasses.Moral of the story and TL;DR - zero care, overpriced glasses, terrible service. I will never return.

5 stars to the Kishan! What a nice person, doing an amazing work.But except him, what a terrible place. I'd give rating in minus if there is an option. No wonder why this store has such low rating. Terrible customer service. Great welcome and smile while buying the expensive glasses and wow.. When we are picking up glasses for my daughter, the guy who served us was terrible. I thought he was forcefully asked to come on shift as his attitude was horrible, like he was just waiting to finish work. No welcome, not a word he said, just grabbed the glasses after we gave the name & handed over to us. He neither gave us a bag, specs cleaning cloth etc not once he asked, Try the glasses & let us know how it is" etc. There was another asian lady who gave us a bag while we were leaving.She was not so good either. I was asking her to help with my Giorgio Armani glasses and all she was only upselling the specs insurance. She kept saying

The optometrists that done my eye exam was amazing , But I wish I had read the reviews before going as the customer service there was horrible ! , I ordered some contact lenses through them and took over two months to arrive when I called up the store for information in regards to how long they will take she said another two weeks when I insisted in a refund because of the way the lady was handling my enquiry over the phone she hung up I proceeded to try call back multiple times and no one was answering my number I had to eventually call of another number for them to answer my call . I went to go pick up my contacts today and they insisted my left eye wasn’t there I had to be persistent and ask for the manager for them to find my contacts for me which was definitely there . As I walked out the door the two front desk lady proceeded for talk about me behind my back which was very unprofessional I will not be ordering or buying any contacts from them from now on . If anyone is after prescription glasses I would highly recommend Oscar Wylee they are in the same mall and are 100 times better and faster .

The Indian guy and girl sitting at the front talking away, not greeting customers when they enter or being at their assistance, wasn't helpful at all, I've worked for opsm myself, and this definitely isn't the expectation any store would want to have. No wonder this store already has bad ratings compared to others.

My husband and I went into the store to look for a new pair of frames for my husband's glasses. At first my husband was the only customer in the store and were two 3 staff who didn't even acknowledge the presence of customers. I must say as a customer of OPSM St Lukes and have spent thousands of on glasses I'd expect a decent hello or Hi from staff. It seemed they were too busy doing nothing. I don't recommend going there as it is disappointing.

Pathetic service at the Manukau store. Firstly 2 to 3 people standing behind the counter with no customers present with no greetings from anyone. After 10 minutes of looking aroubd I found the courage to approach the counter and the guy who I think was the manager asks Watsup and the 2 other girls giggling from the back like really have some professionalism. Well the reviews here explains everything I wish I read the reviews before entering the store.

Run for the hills. This Prada is with transition lens, well at least that’s what we got billed for. This is a picture post 15 mins exposure to direct sunlight. Paid 1k for it and opted all the above options. These guys test it under shop conditions and the glasses appeared to be tinted when tested but didn’t “transition”as advertised. Avoid this place and go to specsavers! Specsavers transitions react as advertised.

Great customer service. One person in particular was really helpful, I believe his name was Haroon. Really helped me around the store as I was unsure with what to get.

Very good Optometrist, explained everything very clearly. 5 stars for the optometrist.Planned to get a new pair of prescription glasses, but horrible experience from the sale team. 0 star for the sale team.

Five stars for KISHAN the optometrist that took care of me. He was amazing. Please book with him he really was concise, professional and made the whole process much less daunting. He also assisted with my eye issues and raised my awareness more than any other eye check and or test I have had to date. However what fell short was the customer service person Daisy. I was ready to purchase a pair of Prada frames as my script had not changed. Daisy proceeded to tell me that Prada did not make the frames I wanted. Even though the same pair was on display in the window. I checked the website to show her and advised they did and she was dismissive and said no they don't. She then went to help another person. I interrupted that transaction and advised excuse me that is very rude. I insisted on being helped given I was buying a $500 pair of frames you would think she would perhaps try and care. Not in the least. I had my daughter with me and wanted to conduct myself according so I walked out and went to Slyvia Park and purchased the frames there the same evening. So disappointed as Kishan is really great and the follow through is dismal. OPSM you will lose customers and sales because of this person. She is an older lady similar in age to me which in my opinion made it worse.
