Valley Cottage Vets

We have had so many positive experiences with Valley Cottage Vets for our two cats (who can both be quite high maintenance and complicated). Really glad we moved here after stressful vet visits in other clinics. Alix has the kindest nature towards animals and the whole team goes above and beyond. Thank you!

Wonderful Staff. Very friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend them to anyone. They were patient and kind to my old girl and look after her well.

This is Onions Angry Pants, she is only alive because of Valley Cottage Vets.They saved her life after a head injury as a kitten. She was in a coma and they didn't think she would make it but thanks to their love and care, she did.She tries to kill every vet and vet nurse who meets her because she has neurological issues that make her angry but the vets and vet nurses still love to see her.About a month after I adopted her, her health went downhill again and she stopped drinking, leading to dehydration but once again Valley Cottage Vets spent about a week saving her life. Onions had to spend a night at After Hours during this time and while I was waiting at After Hours to be seen, Alix and Juli came to the clinic to check in with her. Absolutely above and beyond.I am so grateful to this dedicated team of humans. I could not be more grateful to them for saving this little grump. I love her so much, even though she's the angriest cat I've ever met, she's so very special.Thank you Alix and team. Never forget how amazing you are.

Alix was very rude to us when we took our dog in for vaccines. Treated us like we were stupid and didn’t know how to train and handle our dog but he proceeded to try and forcefully pull him by his lead and make our dog come to him when he was clearly very nervous and hadn’t been to the vet yet so this was his first time. Some animals just do not like the vet and make it very obvious no matter how many times they’ve been. Then when we put in a formal complaint Alix essentially just told us to go away, taking zero responsibility for his actions. Do not recommend this vet at all.

We took our dog in for a vaccination. Alex was wonderful. He was caring and patient and went out of his way to make our dog comfortable. Our dog is usually nervous around vets but very quickly became comfortable with Alex. The rest of the team were great too. Highly recommend this vet.

Very impressed. First visit here Vet, think his name Alec ? Absolutely a thorough job with our cat who'd been beaten up by another cat. Will definitely keep going here

Very polite staff and knowledgeable on products they sell. Also open SaturdaysI had a cuddle with a visiting frenchie bulldog pup too.

Absolutely the only place I will bring my cats. I trust the vet and the staff completely. Even our nervous Toulouse (in the photo) was happy to visit.
