We've been going here for years and love how the knowledgeable staff are always ready to help. We bought our puppy a harness and the staff member patiently helped us get the right one. Great range and nutrition advice is priceless.

Giving a really good and friendly pet store a bad review because you are preaching about adoption is not helpful for people. Pet Essentials is a great pet store and I've been going to them for 2 years. They've always been extremely caring and helpful towards my pets. They are not the SPCA and you should not go into there thinking they should be.

Best customer service in porirua!! You want staff with knowledge and passion for animals they are a great example. Nothing is too hard fr them.

Always friendly and extra helpful. The staff are all knowledgeable and experienced. Animals are welcome in store, very useful if you want to fit your dog for a coat, for example. Please note,I pressed the wrong button in my review answers. They do NOT require temperature checks to get in.
