Great value! The baguettes are to die for!

I don't like to be the bringer of bad news, but after buying the Teriyaki Chicken last night at around 7pm, I have had food poisoning. It's definitely the Teriyaki because I had eaten the same things as my Wife all day and she is perfectly fine. I got the Teriyaki Chicken as an extra fill-up.Most of last night, I spent heaving and throwing up everything I had eaten in the day. I would try to sleep for an hour, only to be up again being sick. I drank water and threw up the water too. After hours of this, I think I cleaned myself out and I also wore myself out. I'm mostly ok today. Just tired from lack of sleep and lack of eating. I have not had an appetite yet.I've bought Sushi from here a number of times and had no problems. As others have said, the staff are friendly and the food is reasonably priced, but this was a terrrible experience and I'm afraid it must be put out there into the public space. I talked to my neighbour and their family buy from here regularly with no problems, so it's bad luck for me to have had this situation happen. A lot more care must be taken. Just one bad experience like this is enough to put me off for good. Companies must be airtight with their food safety. The health risks are too great. I'm a fit healthy person, so I will likely just shrug it off. Someone else might not be so fortunate.

Really delicious, super affordable, and genuinely lovely people! The dumpling noodle soup with a bit of spice is great.

We used to really enjoy this place but not so much now as it's progressivly gotten worse. Our favorite the rice noodle salad used to have a nice peanut dressing on it which no longer appears to be included and the salad changes all the time from a decent salad only spinach leaves. Noodles were abit average and the pork was chewy and to fatty. We threw half the food out, we will be going to viet nom nom from now.

Stopped by here when I was in New Plymouth, sushi and teriyaki dish were both delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was also super friendly and I’ll be making it a consistent stop whenever I come through again!
