Myself and family just spent the day on your tour bus with Buzz. What an awesome experience. I would highly recommend to all. He was full of local and historical knowledge and clearly took pride in his work which made the tour stand out in our books. Congrats to Sand Safaris for having such a champion guy at the helm.

Great trip, excellent value for money. The sound system for me wasn't great I could only catch some of what was said. Dune surfing was great. Nice lunch. Highly recommended

My family and I had an amazing day with Buzz, our driver. He kept us informed with stories from local knowledge while being very approachable and relatable throughout the journey. We had a great bbq for lunch. Highly recommend this company.

What a great adventure we had with Paul at Sand Safaris. He was an excellent guide taking us onto 90 mile Beach for a drive with stunning views. The sand dunes were great fun for surfing down. It was fantastic seeing the Cape Reinga lighthouse which was followed with a relaxing beach BBQ. More great coastal views on the east coast back to base.If you're looking for a great day out this is it!!

This is an awesome day trip up to Cape Reinga. First the bus driver is brilliant (Buzz), very knowledgeable about the area and history. Great BBQ lunch at a beautiful beach and then sand dunning, sooo much fun. I would totally recommend this tour company.

Way better than expected! We’re typically not bus tour people but we didn’t want to take a chance driving on the beach with some horror stories we heard about. Sure enough, as soon as we arrived on the beach there was a family trying to dig out their RV. So happy we went with this company. Paul was an amazing guide! He had so much knowledge of the area and was fully committed to showing the group the best the area has to offer. I would highly recommend!

We booked this trip at the last minute as we had reached the northern most site on our three week tour of North Island, we really wanted to go up to Cape Regina but we wernt keen on driving ourselves. It was the best decision of our trip, we were collected from the town nearest our camp site and met with the main group. Our tour guide/driver Wendy was incredible, friendly, knowledgeable, funny, totally professional and made sure that we all had a fantastic and safe experience. Wendy realy made the whole trip everything we could have hoped for.The trip itself takes you through some breathtaking countryside, we took the road route up due to the ride times and heard some great information about the history and background of the area. Cape Regina is a magical place and has left us with some realy special memories.The BBQ was a nice lunch, enough to keep us going and well prepared and hosted.The dune boarding was an added bonus which the kids enjoyed (and us parents), I was reluctant but having had a go, would recommend you dont miss out.The drive back along 90 mile beach was a great experience and one we never imagined we would have on our trip, but made all the more impressive with the tour bus / truck which was comfortable and combined with Wendy's driving felt very safe.I can't thank the team enough for the fantastic day and would recomend the tour to anyone considering going up to Cape Regina / 90 mile beach, certainly wouldn't choose to drive ourselves when this tour is available.
