Do not use this company. Had the outside of house done and lots of problems with finishing then months later painting peeling and subsequently found where they had just painted over rotten timber this has been a continual problem now and each year we find more issues to degree that we had to replace 2 window frames, one a significant. And continually finding more rubbish work. Today I am about to start cleaning up another frame. The owner promised to come an sort out but never did, we gave up as I suspect others have done over the years.

We hired Nigel and team to redocorate our 3 bedroom home. Everything was great. Nigel was very generous with his time, even doing some extra bits here and there. It was good quality work with care taken around our tricky balustrade. 5 stars no question.

Paint started flaking off after 6 months

Owner is disgustingly racist. There’s other, better decorators around who don’t openly insult people because of their race - I’d recommend finding someone else.

We have used Nigel Hall Decorators on two occasions. The first was to paint the interior of our home in Wellington. Dealing with Nigel and his team is easy as they actually do what they say they are going to do. They show up on time, agree on a plan of action and keep you informed daily.His team did a great job and managed the job so there was no real disruption in the household and we could live a normal" life during the project.We were so pleased with the outcome that we got them back this year to paint the whole exterior (3 stories). Again the same result! We have had many compliments on both inside and out

Nigel Hall Decorators recently returned to complete stage 2 of our interior re-decorating. Once again we are delighted with the results. They are a competent team who work with utmost professionalism and are a pleasure to have around.Pat & Don

Nigel Hall Ltd does have my details and the address in question is 114 Silverstream Rd, Wellington. Nigel told my Project Manager that the issue in question was no longer his problem and wouldn't come back to fix it. It's costing my company over $6k to get another contractor to fix the defects.

Jan and Nigel are the go to team when considering any home decorating. They are great to deal with and say it as it is! The also have an excellent reputation and a wealth of knowledge.
