Absolutely fantastic from the time we walked in until the time we left. Owner / front of house guy was 10/10 funny, charismatic, charming and perfect service.That alone is enough to come back but on top of that the food was delicious.Best Indian I’ve had in ages.Have to try in my opinion

What an amazing evening to have authentic Indian food and that too on my uncle’s 50th! A must try is the garlic naan and cauliflower florets.Great food and service + the owner is amazing who greets you well and Teresa was quick to serve you. Great stuff guys, keep it up!

We always get takeaway from Khana and the food is amazing every time. The owners and staff are lovely and seem to really appreciate their visitors. Highly recommend!

We wanted something promptly as an 'emergency' takeaway dinner. It was certainly prompt, it was also superb, and the owner was very helpful with suggestions. I was particularly impressed that he didn't try to oversell - one naan was plenty, we didn't need a second.That was last night - I'm typing this from Khana, I came back for more!

We tried Khana last weekend as we are new in the area and it is really close to our house. Food was great and the waiter was attentive and friendly. Although I asked for a wine recommendation and he did seem a little bit lost - maybe learn your wine list :) Some people commented on the portion size - I found them to be plenty (from our dine in experience) as indian food tends to be quite heavy in my opinion. We were both full and I even got to take some home for next day's lunch. Was great even reheated. Price was good for the quality - especially as we took advantage of the early bird discount! Please please keep that discount as it will make us very frequent guests with you! :)Edit: Adjusting the review after a few visits. Unfortunately the food and service is very inconsistent, sometimes really great and sometimes less than satisfactory.

Khana is a great Indian restaurant in Devonport that's definitely worth checking out. The owner is very friendly and attentive, and the food is simply delicious. The staff are also really friendly and make for a cozy dining experience. Overall, if you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, you won't go wrong with Khana.

In the dark murky waters that is New Zealand Cuisine, there exists a light on the top of a hill in Devonport at which those seeking out a delightful meal of substance and spice may find refuge. For the past 5 days in this flavorless country I have been unable to finish or even approach a meal with any manner of urgency or hunger. That streak ended tonight at Khana, where my party and I ordered a number of dishes at the spiciest INDIAN SPICY" level and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves patting the our sweaty foreheads and full puku's. Great food

Absolutely loved this place. Best Indian ever! Such delicious, authentic flavours, vast selection of dishes and protein with curries that isn’t so common! Delicious wine, efficient service and lovely, friendly helpful staff. Will return!
