Trued calling to place an order for a birthday and they didn't pickup x 3 times in 15 minutes, on all occasions they picked up and hung up on me,

no fruit flan.end up was these passionfruit cake. paid additional 5 dollars for the fruit on the side. additional 6 dollars for message which I think is too much as the cake itself is already 48.90nzd.the other cake was a gift from a friend,as a surprise.passion fruit cheesecake.delivered for my birthday thru menulog.good that they have this option.

The worst cheesecake shop. June 3rd. Lady in the store is so rude! Paid $63 for a cake and was so badly presented. I told the lady it looks nothing like what is displayed and she said our cakes don’t actually look like what is displayed!!!!! Seriously!!! She got so rude and said she wont do anything about it even after taking full payment for it!!! Also had put different color icing and just ruined the whole cake. We inquired about GF slice which is available to buy from the kiosk which she refused to sell as she didn’t want to waste cutting a cake to sell us a slice!!! Absolutely disappointed.. definitely do not recommend buying from here… thank you cheesecake shop Rotorua for ruining our birthday celebrations…

Very disappointed with the service . I went in store and emailed the store a month a head an asked for a specific cake 3-4 days before my event I emailed again confirming the order the reply was so slow if I didn’t get a reply I had to email again anyway they said they could make the cake ready for pick up Monday at 5 I messaged day before got no reply I message on the day got no reply my partner called them an they couldn’t find my order they eventually found it an said it will be ready 5pm my partner went down an they came out with a completely different cake to what I asked for they just grabbed a cake from the cabinet an said the one who made it left . The night before our event which was for 30 kids . How bloody shocking won’t be back an will recommend others to buy from small business cake ownersName was haiyan

Candy land cake advertising as blue and purple. For a boys birthday and got a pink cake. Was told nothing they can do that’s as close as the baker can do and that it’s very similar. Pink and purple are not the same. Also when ordering cake we asked if it can be made to look like the advertised cake as the one in the display case was missing a lot of the toppings. Owner told worker to write it on the instructions. This was done as it was clearly the on our receipt. This was not done also. Really annoyed my 8 year old son now has a pink cake! For the price they charge you would think they would make certain you get what you pay for. The owner was very rude on phone when we called them.Go to countdown cakes are just as good. Way bigger and a lot cheaper

I was buying a cheesecake for a birthday, they brought one out to me and it was broken the shop lady didn't see anything wrong with the cheesecake, I had to show her that the side of the cake had fallen off. She went to get another one for me, took forever, the second cheesecake looked better but when I was serving it it looked like a mess, the biscuit base was soggy and so thin, very unpleasant to serve as it wasn'tstayingtogether. Was embarrassing serving this cheesecake.

The worst Cheesecake Shop in New Zealand! Very bad customer service and the cake we received was totally different from their images published on their webpage.

Great Cakes as always.. place to go for a cheese cake fix in Rotorua. Courteous customer service. Get spoilt for choices
