Stihl Shop Petone

Bought a chainsaw from this store today. Very helpful and friendly service. Warranties are all done onsite so no sending it away if it has any issues. They even filled it up with fuel and chainbar oil. I get to take it back after the first time i use the chainsaw for a free service. Definately reccomend this store. Thanks

I purchased the Stihl Function basic helmet set and Function chainsaw chaps, the chaps coming as a bundle including separate ear muffs and safety glasses. The chaps were a bit short in the leg, so I returned 2 days later to exchange them which was done happily without fuss.The helmet is comfortable with enough fit adjustment, as are the attached ear muffs. The chaps appear to be good quality and are comfortable.I'm very happy to recommend the service at Stihl Shop Petone. Thanks.

Great service and friendly team

After a phone call and confirmation on opening hours, including traffic drive from porirua arrived at 17:05 store was close and the workers inside pretended like I’m not outside. I don’t believe such a bad service and ignorance can exist. They are definitely in no need of business

Great service here. The Stihl shop here also caters for other brands and also has an outdoor dog grooming service area, which my dog actually loves.The expertise here is phenomenal with workshops out back, in case the issue with your machine will take more than half an hour to fix.

Went to buy a wood chipper and hubby tagged along. Man at the shop ignored me and tried to deal with my man. Hubby wasn't buying it, I was. Thought this kind of bias to men had gone out the window but it hasn't. Even when it was obvious I was going to pay, he deferred to my husband. I was close to walking out.He came right in the very end but too late for me to forget.

Easy parking, very clean and well laid out store, good advice and spectacular service

I highly recommend this store. While on my two visits I was not purchasing from their vast product range, I found their staff to be friendly & polite. I noticed the layout of their products was well displayed & the store is filled with bright natural light. There is dedicated parking out front.My visits over the last three weeks was to have a mower I purchased from their range (at their previous store) serviced. This mower is so easy to use. Neighbours have commented on how easy it is to lift compared to the heavier metal based mowers - which is important to consider on hillside properties. I love that it is battery operated & it is so easy to use.The STIHL Shop is unique, in the fact that they have qualified staff who can repair a wide range of products - the products they sell & products of other brands.Please do consider STIHL when looking for a wide range of tools.Good Tools & Great Service. You can't buy better.
