Staff seemed to know everyone by name that walked past or walked into their store for a look. Got offered a beverage. They include you into the their banter and laughs. Definitely going back.10 out of 10 would recommend. But shall settle for 5 stars

Visiting the Hutt to catch up with family and thought I would get a haircut while in town. I went in as a walk in and got a haircut from Terence.Terence is an extremely skilled barber who gave me one of the best haircuts I've had in years.More importantly, he is warm hearted, seems genuinely interested in people, and knows how to make people feel at ease and at home in his shop.You can go to a lot of barbers and get a haircut, but there's not many where you feel as welcome as at The Hairy Barber.If I lived here, I'd definitely become a regular!

I took my young son here for a hair cut and spiderweb design for his birthday - absolutely blown away! What an awesome atmosphere, outstanding hair cut and design - highly recommend for all ages. The team made us feel really comfortable and everyone was super friendly! AA++

Not only great cuts, but great family" type atmosphere and interesting conversation that makes any person feel welcome! They are good with the very young right up to the most senior...and show respect to people on all levels. As a female I go in to get a trim and that could be an uncomfortable experience in a male-dominated environment

I've done a lot of barbers around Wellington and those guys offer the best customer service and cuts you can hope for. I drive over half an hour just to go and see them because let's face it, they're worth it!As friendly as they are professional, don't go anywhere else

An excellent place for a haircut and a beard trim. Great guys to talk to and have a laugh with.Reasonably priced and the online booking form is easy to use.These guys are nearly always busy, so book ahead unless you don't mind waiting a while as you walk in.
