Went with a large group and had a wonderful time. Owners were lovely and left us to our own which was great as that was our preference. You could tell they would be wonderful if you wanted them to be more hands on too, very helpful. Such a gorgeous setting and the house is to die for, so cool that it's all off grid and an awesome place for a group booking. Beach nearby, 15min walk or a quick drive. Heaps of bathrooms, clean house, comfy beds. Owners were very understanding of the fact that a pool que and ping pong bat were damaged by party guests - we replaced them before departure as they had back to back bookings and they seemed to appreciate it.

This is a great log lodge with amazing views. Normally, I would give 5 starts for a facility of this quality. But I had to remove a star for poor cooking facilities. There is a top quality grill and an oven outside. But we didnt get to use those due to our short stay and cleaning inconveniences. There is a gas cooker inside which was leaning towards the back. The inside oven was ancient and the door didn't seal properly and didn't cook so well. Unfortuntely no microwave to reheat. The house is running on solar power which was so cool. There is ocean access and plenty of space to play.

Son was married here we loved the event, service, and location.Small wedding!

We gathered there for a 21st Birthday celebration in July. The Lodge has great facilities, very clean. Loved the warm fire, the fabulous ocean view in a rural setting. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would I go back again.....most definitely!

There were few issues like no microwave oven and upstairs hot water is not working when both showers using. But I can sacrifice those to the view and location.I took pictures of milky way from the lodge. It was amazing.
